Finding Pappee
Somewhere along the canal path, a baby giraffe named Pappee has wandered away — and his toys are scattered all along the way. His mama, Girrapee, can see for miles and miles, but she cannot see what's right beneath her nose. She needs someone small and brave and very good at looking. She needs Henry. Together, they'll follow a little map, collect Pappee's scattered treasures, and find one very lost baby giraffe — who just needs to come home.
Henry finds the first of Pappee's lost toys — a small spotty ball — on the canal path. Girrapee cheers from far above!
Henry finds Pappee's second toy — a tiny yellow duck. Girrapee bends down and whispers that Pappee must be very, very close now.
Henry finds Pappee! The baby giraffe is safe and sound. Girrapee gives the longest, warmest giraffe hug — and the daisy stays tucked safely behind her ear.
Girrapee bends her long neck all the way down and asks Henry for help. She gives him a little map showing where Pappee's toys are hidden along the canal path.
