The Solano Affair
Somewhere between Rome and home, Mira Solano has vanished. She was the best courier the network ever had — fluent in seven languages, impossible to follow, never wrong about a painting. But she's wrong about something now, and the only person who can find her is someone who knows how to look. A trail of encoded messages. A network gone silent. And a mystery that spans continents but starts right here. Rosey, the network needs you. Mira is running out of time.
A second message surfaces — a postcard from Rome with coordinates written in the margin — revealing Mira had been tracking a forgery ring with a mole inside the network.
Rosey finds Mira's field notes — a small dossier with her own name on the cover — and discovers Mira had been watching her long before the mission went wrong.
The final encoded message — sealed in wax the color of cadmium red — requires Rosey to use everything she's gathered and trust her own instincts to decode it.
The decoded message reveals Mira is safe — and that Rosey has just passed the only test that ever mattered. A letter, a credential card, and a small cadmium red paint stub await her.
Rosey receives Mira's first encoded message — a folded document with a red thumbprint in the corner — and realizes she was chosen for this long before today.
